چکیده
A-interrupted alpha: the normal waking 10.per-second rhythm dominates the pattern B-Zozu voltage: the alpha rhythm is lost C-spindles: short groups (“spindles”) of 14-per-second waves appear and also random “delta” * waves 0.2 second or more in length D-spindles plus random: both types of wave increase in voltage and the delta waves become longer E-random: the 14.per-second waves become inconspicuous, but delta waves continue to increase in voltage and wavelength

Impact of hypokinesia on dynamics of formation of evoked potentials in sensorimotor cortex in early postnatal ontogenesis
The analysis of evoked potentials of sensorimotor cortex in response to electrical stimulation of n. ischiadicus shows that the extremal factor hypokinesia has a negative impact on the dynamics of formation of amplitudal and temporal characteristics since eyes openning in 2-weeks old rats. The most vulnerable process to the impact of hypokinesia is the first-positive phase, which disappears in ...

متن کاملIdentification of Imaging and Clinical Markers Predicting Chronic Sleep Disturbances After Traumatic Brain Injury in Adults
Background and Aim: We aimed to determine the prognostic imaging and clinical markers of chronic Post-Traumatic Sleep-Wake Disorders (PTSWDs) with a special focus on the early cognitive and executive dysfunctions following Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The prevalence rate of Post-Traumatic Psychiatric Disorders (PTPDs) in various sleep disorders was also investigated. Methods and Materials/Pat...
متن کاملReduced respiratory-related evoked activity in subjects with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
Midlatency respiratory-related evoked potentials were measured during wakefulness by using a 60-electrode array placed over the cortical region of the scalp. We studied the responses evoked by 200-ms pressure pulses at -5 and -10 cmH(2)O applied at inspiratory onset and during control tests (no pressure applied) in 14 subjects with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) and 18 normal subjects....
متن کاملAssessment of sleep status in 6 to 18-month-old infants consuming cerealc
Introduction: Sleep is particularly important in children because it affects their physical and mental evolution. Sleep disorders are seen in 20% to 30% of children. Cereal is being distributed as one of the complementary foods at the pharmacies in Iran. This study is designed to study the sleep status of cereal-consuming infants in order to take a step forward in improving cereal prescribing. ...
